Treatment

Your main goal to treat an egg bound hen is to get the egg out of the hen without breaking or smashing it in her oviduct.

Treatment includes massaging the hens abdomen to try and help the hen push the egg out.
Other things you can try help the hen release the egg is to give her a warm bath or put a steaming large dish of water under her to help her relax her tense muscles
With these tricks the hen should be able to release the egg in about an hour. If these treatments have no effect on your hen, you may want to consult a vet right away.
